Granville and Valles Elected

Kenneth Granville and Salvador Valles, both of El Paso, were elected to district-level offices on May 18, 2019, during the District 23 Toastmasters 2019 conference in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Kenneth Granville
The members of District 23 Toastmasters elected Granville, a learning specialist with ADP in El Paso, to the role of District Director for the 2019-2020 Toastmasters year. Granville has previously served as an Area Director and Club Growth Director for the district. He's been instrumental in leading the district officers and members in the growth of new clubs as well as helping train them to deliver excellent member experiences in their own clubs.

Working with other elected district officers, Granville will assemble the next team of district officers. While their terms of office begin on July 1, 2019, they are already hard at work.

"When we are focused, we are able to recognize our importance," said Granville. "When we are passionate, we surpassed all expectations. This formula has proven true as I humbly step into the role of District Director and will be the foundation of our leadership going forward."

Salvador Valles
Salvador Valles, presently an Area Director in El Paso, received the nomination and was elected to the position of Division Director for the southern division of District 23. A member for three years, Valles quickly became involved in helping the district achieve its mission of building new clubs and helping all clubs achieve excellence. Working as a technical support analyst, Valles is also employed by ADP in El Paso. His experience as an Area Director and his technical skill set will be highly valued by the Area Directors he leads in the southern division.
